A safe place for healing, forgiveness, and freedom in Christ.
The VMTC Pattern of Prayer
Purpose and Spirit
The Pattern of Prayer is not a rigid formula but a Spirit-led map for ministry—helping teams flow in unity with the Holy Spirit as they minister God’s love and grace. It keeps the session orderly, balanced, and focused for the good of the one receiving ministry.
1. VMTC MINISTRY PROCESS OVERVIEW
Pre-Session Preparation (Before Ministry)
(from “Pre-Session Instructions.docx”)
This stage helps both the ministry team and the one receiving ministry come spiritually, mentally, and practically ready.
A. Spiritual Preparation
-
Prayer: Seek the Holy Spirit’s presence and readiness.
-
Repentance: Confess known sin; come with a humble, willing heart.
-
Forgiveness: Release anyone who has caused offense (Matthew 6:14-15).
-
Surrender: Yield every part of life to Jesus’ lordship.
B. Practical Preparation
-
Complete required forms or personal history sheets.
-
Block out time (sessions may take several hours).
-
Get adequate rest and, optionally, fast for consecration.
C. Mental & Emotional Readiness
-
Be honest, open, and transparent.
-
Release expectations—trust God’s leading.
-
Prepare to renounce strongholds, occult ties, and lies.
D. Logistical Tips
-
Dress modestly and comfortably.
-
Bring a Bible and notebook.
-
Ensure privacy, especially in virtual sessions.
E. Post-Session Readiness
-
Plan quiet reflection afterward.
-
Avoid immediate spiritual confrontation; let healing settle in.
Prayer Session
The VMTC Pattern of Prayer (During Ministry)
(from “Pattern of Prayer – 06.19”)
This is the Spirit-led framework used by ministry teams during the session.
-
Team’s Opening Prayers – Declare Christ’s lordship, pray for unity, cleansing, empowerment, and self-forgiveness.
-
The Checklist – Identify sins, contacts, and bondages; cut, bind, and smash as the Spirit leads.
-
Listening Time – Hear the heart of the person; look for wounds and relational patterns.
-
The Circle of God’s Love – Work through relationships with forgiveness, confession, self-forgiveness, healing, and blessing.
-
Time of Exchanges – Renounce old patterns; declare new godly replacements.
-
Closing Prayers – The session concludes with thanksgiving and blessing. The team prays for the infilling of the Holy Spirit, the Fruit and Gifts of the Spirit, and places the Armor of God upon the one who has received ministry. The time ends with joy, peace, and praise for what Jesus has done.
Confession, Absolution, and Repentance
1. Confession — Agreeing with God
Confession means to acknowledge truthfully before God what He reveals as sin, hurt, or bondage.
It is not about shame, but about agreement with God’s truth.
Through confession, we bring hidden things into the light where Jesus can heal and cleanse.
“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” — 1 John 1:9
In VMTC ministry, confession is spoken from the heart—naming the sin, taking responsibility for it, and surrendering it to Jesus.
Confession is both the key to freedom and the beginning of transformation.
2. Absolution — Receiving God’s Forgiveness
Absolution is the assurance of God’s forgiveness spoken over the one receiving ministry after confession and repentance.
It is not the team forgiving sin on their own authority, but declaring what Christ has already done.
The minister’s words affirm the cleansing power of the Cross and the removal of guilt, shame, and condemnation.
“As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us.” — Psalm 103:12
Absolution seals the moment of grace—it is the spoken witness of Heaven’s forgiveness.
It helps the person not only to believe they are forgiven, but to receive it deeply.
3. Repentance — Turning Toward God
Repentance means more than sorrow—it is a complete turning of heart and direction.
To repent is to renounce sin and choose obedience, aligning one’s life with the truth of Christ.
True repentance produces fruit—visible change that flows from a transformed heart.
“Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord.” — Acts 3:19
In VMTC ministry, repentance is the step that follows confession and absolution—a decision to walk in the new life that Jesus has given.
It closes doors the enemy once used, and opens the way for healing, restoration, and freedom.
Together: The Flow of Freedom
-
Confession — I agree with God about my sin.
-
Absolution — I receive His forgiveness and release from guilt.
-
Repentance — I turn away from the past and walk in newness of life.
This threefold pattern reflects the ministry of Jesus Himself—bringing forgiveness, cleansing, and restoration for the good of the one receiving ministry.
Our Heart for You
Core Truths in Both Stages
- Every VMTC prayer ministry session is centered on Jesus Christ, guided by the Holy Spirit, and grounded in Scripture.
We minister in love, confidentiality, and compassion—believing that Christ came to heal the brokenhearted and set the captives free (Luke 4:18). -
Spirit-Led, Scripture-Based: Always follow the Holy Spirit within biblical boundaries.
-
For the Good of the One Receiving Ministry: Every action aims at the person’s wholeness, not performance.
-
Forgiveness and Self-Forgiveness: These release God’s healing power and close doors to bondage.
-
Ongoing Freedom: Ministry is not the end—it’s the beginning of walking daily in victory through Christ.
